Our commitment
Plot Photography wants everyone to be able to use our website, including people with disabilities. We are working to make plotphotography.com meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities, including vision, hearing, mobility, and cognitive disabilities.
What we are doing
To support accessibility, we aim to:
- Add text descriptions (alt text) to meaningful images.
- Use clear headings, labels, and page structure.
- Make sure the site can be used with a keyboard, not just a mouse.
- Use text and background colors with enough contrast to be easy to read.
- Make sure text can be enlarged without breaking the page.
- Label form fields clearly and explain errors in plain language.
- Provide captions for narrated videos where possible. Most of our property videos have music only and no spoken content.
- Make sure our cookie notice can be used with a keyboard and screen reader.
- Review the site for accessibility when we add new pages or features, and do a full review at least once a year.
Third-party content
Some parts of our service are provided by other companies, including:
- HD PhotoHub, which we use for ordering, client login, and media delivery.
- Tour Factory, which hosts our virtual tours and property websites.
- Embedded videos, maps, or social media content.
We do not control the accessibility of these third-party platforms, but we choose partners with care and will share accessibility feedback with them. If you have trouble using any of them, contact us and we will help you another way, such as placing your order by phone or email, or sending your files directly.
Known limitations
Our website is mainly a visual showcase of photography and video. While we work to describe images, some portfolio images or older content may not yet have full descriptions. Virtual tours and 3D content may be hard to use with some assistive technology. If you need information from any of this content, please contact us and we will provide it in another way.
